"Mainstreeting" Green Infrastructure
As cities face growing costs of water regulations and aging infrastructure, important decision makers, including
the White House Council on Environmental Quality, are now gravitating toward solutions that include benefits for people and the environment as a competitive alternative to traditional grey infrastructure. Advancing “green or sustainable infrastructure” is key to address U.S. freshwater challenges and has been a top focus area for The Johnson Foundation’s Charting New Waters initiative.

Collaborative for Children’s Mental Health
Following release of its July 2012 report titled, “Top of Mind: Children’s Mental Health in Racine – Highlighting facts and uncovering urgent needs," the Johnson Foundation at Wingspread convened the Racine Collaborative for Children’s Mental Health, which brings together a dedicated group of individuals representing a broad spectrum of the community.
