Describe the purpose of your conference in one sentence. What one or two things do you hope to accomplish?
Who will be invited? Estimate how many participants you expect (20-40 is typical). List five to seven illustrative invitees (include titles and affiliations). In addition to considering participation by those known for their efforts in the field, think "outside the box."
What will you do before, during, and after the conference to assure its impact?
What sources of funding do you have available to cover costs such as travel, lodging, and pre- and post-conference preparation and follow through?
