Helen Johnson-Leipold, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Johnson Outdoors Inc., joined the Board of Trustees of The Johnson Foundation in 1996, and took over as Chairman in June 2004. She is also Chairman of Johnson Financial Group and serves on the boards of SC Johnson, The Prairie School, and Sustainable Racine. Ms. Johnson-Leipold is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Next Generation Now, a cutting edge child development and family support initiative in Racine's inner city. She previously held positions as Vice President of Consumer Marketing Services & Advertising-Worldwide and Vice President of Personal & Home Care Products in North American Consumer Products Marketing at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. Ms. Johnson-Leipold began her career in 1978 at Foote, Cone & Belding-Chicago, working for seven years in marketing and advertising.
