Janice
C. Kreamer
Janice C. Kreamer, elected to The Johnson Foundation
Board of Trustees in 1996, is Retired President of
the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Affiliated
Trusts. Under her guidance, the foundation has developed
numerous programs of national significance, including
Partnerships for Children, a coalition that seeks
to improve conditions for area children, YouthNet,
a community-based intervention effort for at-risk
youth, and New Start, a pilot program that extends
Head Start to full-day, year-round support. Ms. Kreamer
is co-chair of the Coalition of Community Foundations
for Youth and past chair of the Johnson County Community
College Foundation. She serves on the Board of Directors
of Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the Kansas City Industrial
Foundation, is a Trustee of the Midwest Research Institute
and the Presbyterian Foundation USA, and is a member
of the National Task Force of Maternal and Child Health.
