21st Century Educator Development at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside

Wednesday, May 30, 2012
University of Wisconsin-Parkside and The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread.

The social and economic landscape of southeast Wisconsin is changing rapidly, presenting new opportunities and challenges to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside as a regional partner in providing high-quality, responsive learning and development opportunities. One of the greatest challenges is that of preparing the professional educators who will ensure that all students in the region develop the knowledge and skills that they need to live successful and productive lives in the 21st century. UW-Parkside is addressing these challenges by working collaboratively with districts, teachers, and the business community to build an educational hub to serve the southeast Wisconsin region and beyond. Program Director, Patricia Hoffman, members of the design teams and Chancellor Debbie Ford will present an engaging update on the 21st Century Educator Development Program Program.
